It seemed to last forever but Tyra knew better than that. Nothing lasts forever. She’d settle for tonight if that’s all she got, but she silently wished for more. She wanted to be the one, the true mate that Rachel was sure every person had if they weren’t too afraid to look for them. She lay there, unable to move a single muscle as he went to the bathroom and returned with a soft, damp cloth and cleaned her. When he was done, he pulled her up to the pillows, curling his body around hers and tugged the covers over them both.
